T-QUAL Tick
What is T-QUAL?
T-QUAL is the Australian Government’s partnership with quality tourism accreditation, rating and certification programs. T-QUAL sets the national benchmark for quality across the tourism industry. It is a federally endorsed system that assesses and identifies Australia’s quality tourism accreditation programs, and brings them together under one unifying framework.
The T-QUAL Logo
The logo, the T-QUAL Tick, is a national symbol that identifies quality tourism experiences in Australia. It is displayed by T-QUAL endorsed products and services – those products & services accredited through an endorsed program – and consumers are encouraged to look for it when making holiday bookings.
The Australian Tourism Accreditation Program (ATAP) is Australia’s leading tourism accreditation program and was the first accreditation program to be endorsed under the new framework.
ATAP has already met the high standards set in this framework therefore there are no additional requirements for ATAP Accredited businesses, other than maintaining their accreditation status, to gain access to the T-QUAL logo.
What are the benefits?
In additional to all of the benefits of being an ATAP Accredited Business, T-QUAL endorsed products & services will benefit from:
- Increased marketing exposure;
- Increased online distribution via a partnership with TripAdvisor;
- A competitive point of difference;
- An immediate and ongoing boost to business credibility; and
- Preferential listing on Australia.com for businesses that are part of the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW).
Tourism Australia will promote the T-QUAL Tick to consumers as the new, national symbol of tourism quality
- Tourism Australia’s consumer marketing campaign will utilise a range of consumer-facing channels including online advertising, digital partnerships, social media and other PR activities
- T-QUAL endorsed businesses must have listings with TripAdvisor and the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) to fully benefit from the consumer marketing campaign.
