Marketing campaign unveiled for Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards finalists

Tonight, at the announcement of the finalists in the 2013 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards, a new marketing package developed by Tourism WA and The Sunday Times was unveiled.
The new marketing campaign will promote Award Finalists and Winners to international and domestic visitors through a number of print, digital and social media networks.
Tourism Council WA Evan Hall CEO said “the Awards highlight the extraordinary experiences that the Western Australian tourism industry has to offer and this is a fantastic way to promote our entrants.”
“The Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards recognise tourism excellence and reflect the passion and professionalism of tourism operators in WA and this campaign will showcase the best in the industry” said Mr Hall.
Perth Airport’s Executive General Manager Corporate Affairs, Fiona Lander, also commented “as the gateway to Western Australia, Perth Airport plays a critical role is supporting tourism in Western Australia. We have been involved with the Tourism Council WA for almost 20 years, and we are pleased to be sponsoring the 2013 Tourism Awards in recognition of the vibrancy of tourism in our vast State”.
Over 900 guests are expected to attend the Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards Gala Dinner on 9 November at Crown Perth.
“It is fantastic to have our naming rights sponsor Perth Airport back on board this year. Perth Airport’s strong support is critical for this vibrant industry” said Mr Hall.
