Message from Tourism Council WA _mg_00031

The Western Australian Tourism Awards are the industry’s most prestigious Awards and provide tourism operators with a wonderful opportunity to showcase their business.

We are proud to announce that Tourism Council WA, in conjunction with the National Tourism Alliance, will be hosting the 2010 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards in Perth on 11th March 2011. This will provide the Western Australian tourism industry with a wonderful opportunity to showcase the magnificent tourism experiences that this State has to offer. Therefore I urge all WA tourism operators to enter the 2010 WA Tourism Awards to give yourselves every opportunity to represent Western Australia at the National Awards being held on home soil.

To assist you in preparation of your submissions, we are introducing an ‘Entrants Assistance Package’ which comprises:

  • A Submission Toolkit
  • A Submission Review Process

Accreditation is a requirement for entry in the WA Tourism Awards and the significant increase in the number of businesses becoming accredited over the past year demonstrates the exceptional commitment to quality and professionalism displayed by the Western Australian Tourism Industry.

The benefits derived from entering the WA Tourism Awards make the effort involved in preparing your submission more than worthwhile. I look forward to your participation in both the WA Tourism Awards and hopefully the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards and wish you every success in what are challenging but exciting times for tourism in Western Australia
