Election of Directors
Nominations are invited to fill three (3) Elected Director vacancies on the Tourism Council WA Board of Directors. Nominations are now open and will close at 17:00 hrs (WST) Tuesday 17 September 2019.
Should more than three (3) eligible nominations be received, a ballot will be necessary. The vote will be conducted by electronic ballot which will open Wednesday 25 September 2019 and close at 17:00 hrs (WST) Wednesday 9 October 2019. The Returning Officer for the election is Mr Mike Michael, Managing Director of Cirrena IVS Independent Voting Solutions.
Consistent with the TCWA Constitution adopted at the 2016 AGM, candidate eligibility requirements have been introduced for Elected Directors positions. It is the responsibility of candidates to meet the new eligibility requirements and to comply with the Constitution and the relevant TCWA policies.
All requirements, policies and forms are detailed on the Directors Elections 2019 webpage. Candidates must submit their Nomination Forms to the Returning Officer via email@example.com no later than 17:00 hrs (WST) Tuesday 17 September 2019.
Please ensure that the candidate is nominated by two separate financial Ordinary Member businesses. To nominate an Ordinary Member, businesses must have paid TCWA membership or accreditation fees for 2019-20.
Should a ballot be necessary, the Directors Election 2019 will be conducted by electronic means for a more accessible, timely and cost effective ballot.
The electronic ballot will be distributed via the email address of the primary contact of the Ordinary Member in the Tourism Council WA membership database. If you wish to check the details and email address of the primary contact, please call Tourism Council WA on 9416 0700.
Tourism Council WA has engaged Cirrena IVS Independent Voting Solutions to conduct the electronic ballot.
