Trainer - Amy Gough

Amy is the owner of Wanderlust Communications, a digital marketing and social media consultancy based in Perth. Amy is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in integrated public relations. Amy began her career in the UK working with travel and tourism brands including Stena Line, Welcome to Yorkshire and Co-op Travel and FMCG brand Morrisons Supermarkets. She then went on to work for one of the UK’s first social media agencies and managed accounts for Sony Ericsson, Silver Cross, Lee Cooper and the NHS. Since relocating to Western Australia in 2011, Amy has worked as the Marketing Manager for a large recreation centre and as General Manager for the Kalgoorlie Boulder Visitor Centre where she honed her tourism marketing skills. In 2014 Amy won the Kalgoorlie Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry Administration Employee of the Year Award and the GWN7 Golden i Award for Visitor Centre Leadership. Shortly after, she moved to Perth and set up Wanderlust Communications – a digital marketing consultancy specialising in the tourism industry. She has an Honors Degree in Public Relations, an Advanced Diploma in Management and a Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
